Teachers today have unlimited access to digital information, yet they are hard pressed for time to collaborate with others in the profession let alone their own buildings. With the lack of time, substitutes, and money we need a solution to help solve the issue. We have the possibility of communicating through social media, but how can this be successful to a community? This session will focus on learning how to engage your community of teachers by connecting them through Google+. Your learning community will be able to share resources, questions, advice, tips, and showcase student projects. As @E_Sheninger stated “Connectedness is no longer an option, but rather a standard and a professional obligation.” Let’s give teachers an option to drive their learning where and when they want to in a timely manner. #sharingiscaring
