Tired of paper jams, empty toner cartridges and waiting lines at the copier? You need fast, effective workflows that don’t simply trade the piles of paper in your office to an endless flood of emails in your inbox. Managing digital work from students doesn’t have to be complicated. With the new Google Classroom, teachers can quickly create and distribute assignments in a few clicks! Student work is automatically organized into folders by assignment for the teacher. Each course is represented in the student’s Google Drive by a unique folder that houses their work for that course. Assignments can be posted in Classroom with their associated due date, instructions and links, which makes it easier for kids to stay on top of their work. By leveraging the powerful collaboration features of the Google Suite, teachers can provide timely and meaningful feedback. Participants of this interactive workshop will join a “test class” in Google Classroom to view this tool from the student perspective and learn how to set up their own Google Classroom.
