The presentation will involve the contribution from four presenters, Don Langenhorst, the Dedham District Director of Technology will discuss creating, formulating and implementing a change initiative including the process of planning and implementation.  Christine Casali, a high school science teacher will discuss free or inexpensive Science apps and iPads use in the high school classroom, Joanne Devine, a high school senior will discuss iPads use from a student perspective and Judy Foley, K-12 Technology will discuss crossing platforms and making the iPads implementation effective in a high school environment.  Each presenter will be prepared to present their content in a fast-paced “IGNITE” format to demonstrate the iPad potential in a high school from the administration and control, to the classroom, in the hands of a student and how these technologies integrate with other platforms in the district.
