i-Expert Session: 'A Beginner's Guide to Twitter'

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The 3 panels of "i-Experts" will each give a 10 minute presentation to the group. Then attendees will break-out with the "Experts".

This session demonstrates, at a beginner level, the power of Twitter in regard to increasing student interest and bringing about well-rounded teaching. Teachers who are considering starting a Twitter account or who have just began would benefit the most from this presentation. Different techniques on how to effectively utilize social media and properly interact with students online will boost student drive and interest, and these techniques will be modeled in the presentation. This session will also share popular follows and where to find lesson materials on Twitter while also providing the opportunity to connect and collaborate with other educators who are on Twitter, connecting educators across the world digitally to empower each of our individual classrooms.

This will be shared by an "iExpert".
