Kristy Sauter has been helping schools discover, evaluate, and begin implementing the Canvas learning platform for over 3 years at Instructure. Kristy started her career teaching Special Education, and felt strongly that educational technology was a very positive thing in the classroom to reach all students. After joining Instructure in 2011, Kristy began working with colleges, universities, K-12 schools & districts, and corporate/non-profit entities, but quickly joined the K-12 team when it was formed in the Spring of 2012. Since that time, she has helped build the company from about 40 client schools to over 1,000, half of which are K-12 schools and districts.

In her spare time, Kristy enjoys spending time with her 6-month old son and husband, playing guitar, and riding motorcycles.
